JNTU is basically divided into 3 regions totally. The regions are as follows
1) JNTU-HYDERABAD (FOR TELANGANA REGION)
2) JNTU-KAKINADA (FOR KOSTHA REGION)
3) JNTU-ANANTAPUR (FOR RAYALASEEMA REGION)
However JNTU-Jagityala is a Constituent colleges which comes under JNTU Hyderabad.

First of all u need to know your regulation (Most of the rules will be depending on your regulation only). The students who are joining this year (2010) will come R10 regulation. Each & every student in JNTU will be given an unique ID (Roll No/Hall Ticket no) which is of 10 digits (which contains digit & alphabets).This ID will be till the end of your final year.
