  • JNTU is basically divided into 3 regions totally. The regions are as follows

    1) JNTU-HYDERABAD (FOR TELANGANA REGION)
    2) JNTU-KAKINADA (FOR KOSTHA REGION)
    3) JNTU-ANANTAPUR (FOR RAYALASEEMA REGION)
    However JNTU-Jagityala is a Constituent colleges which comes under JNTU Hyderabad.

      Complete Info For 1st Year JNTUK Students

    • First of all u need to know your regulation (Most of the rules will be depending on your regulation only). The students who are joining this year (2010) will come R10 regulation. Each & every student in JNTU will be given an unique ID (Roll No/Hall Ticket no) which is of 10 digits (which contains digit & alphabets).This ID will be till the end of your final year.       ·         For External exams 75 Marks.
      ·         For Mid Exams 25 Marks (10 marks are assigned for subjective exam, 10 marks for objective “On Line” exam and 5 marks for attendance)
      ·         For theory subjects, the marks for attendance is to be given as follows:

      As there are many rumors spreading regarding the Pass marks for this semester. Here is the Info on Pass Marks for JNTU-HYDERABAD, JNTU-KAKINADA & JNTU-ANANTAPUR 2010.

      JNTU-HYDERABAD
      For 1st,2nd Year (R09 Regulation)-
      Internals : 14 out of 25 Marks
      Externals : 26 out of 75 Marks
      Total : 40 out of 100 Marks

      For 3rd,4th Years (R07,R05)
      Internals : 12 out of 20 Marks
      Externals : 28 out of 80 Marks
      Total : 40 out of 100 Marks


      JNTU-KAKINADA
      For 1st Year (R10 Regulation)-
      Internals : 14 out of 25 Marks
