Glass2k is an application designed to highlight the visual background in your system, it offers a nice crystal effect that makes menus, windows, dialogue box, etc. look transparent.
Glass2k allows us to dim or increase the transparency in each element and, for this; it offers a method of key abbreviation, that is, a combination executed from the keyboard to have quick access to the functions. This key combination is recorded in the program and you may use it in future sessions.

Glass 2k is a fantastic yet tiny program that enables you to make any window transparent. You will be able to easily set the degree of transparency by making a right click on the target window or by using a keyboard shortcut that can be configured, enabled or disabled from the program's settings window for your convenience. Moreover, the program allows you to control the degree of opacity of your Windows TaskBar visually by clicking on a progress-bar like control.
The program places a handy tray icon from which you can easily access the program. By setting the different program options, you can save the transparency settings for each window and also hear a beeping sound on every action of the program.
The program is compatible with all Microsoft Windows versions including Windows XP and Vista. It can be executed without the need to install it. Furthermore, you will be able to set it to start every time Windows boots up. One of the disadvantages of this program is that it requires VB6 Runtime libraries in order to run properly.
